How does this service work online?

  • Create an Account
  • Complete the account form
  • Once you have an account, sign in and start filling your shopping from our “Shopping List” or weekly ad
  • Checkout with credit/debit card/PayPal
  • You have a choice of drop off day Monday through Friday
  • Orders submitted by 9am will be available for pick up same day Sabula at the Island City Harbor from 2:30pm-5:30pm Monday through Friday

How does this service work by mobile App?

  • Go to the Play Store or Apple Store, locate our shopping service vendor’s green freshop app and install
  • Open the app and either create a new account or use your existing Sullivan’s online account information to access the shopping service

How does this service work by phone call?

  • Call the store at 815.273.7739 Monday through Friday between 7am and 10am
  • Provide your list of items
  • Pay with credit/debit card
  • Orders submitted between 7am and 10am will be available for pick up same day Sabula at the Island City Harbor from 2:30pm-5:30pm

How much does this service cost?

  • The service is $5 per order but is waived for the duration of the bridge closure.

Is there a minimum order?

  • The minimum order for this special drop off service is $30.

Can I order online and pick up my order at the store?

  • Currently, Sullivan’s is offering drop-off service in Sabula due to the bridge closure. We are planning to launch a store pick-up service soon for our customers in the Savanna, IL area and eventually too all of our locations!

How can I pay for my order?

  • Pay online or by app using a credit/debit card or PayPal.
  • Pay by phone call using a credit/debit card

Why is there a provisional hold at checkout?

  • We temporarily authorize your card for the higher of $5 or 10% of the item total. It helps account for charges like bottle deposits, final sales tax, and items sold by weight. As soon as your order is complete, we charge your card for exactly what was in your final order.

Why am I shown an estimated total at checkout?

  • The prices displayed on our website reflect our current price. Please know that you will be charged the price of the items at the day and time you pick up your order. Taxes aren’t shown at checkout.

How do I order items sold by weight?

  • Certain items such as apples, bananas, pork chops, and steaks are purchased individually online for convenience, but still paid for by the pound. When your personal shopper selects your items, they are weighed at the store and you’re charged for the exact weight of your item.

Can I change my order once it has been submitted?

  • We are sorry, but for us to have everyone’s orders ready to go, once your order is completed and checked out, we will not accept changes at this time.

Does the website save my credit card information?

  • For your safety and security, the online shopping service does not save your payment information.

Will I be able to input coupons?

  • Currently, the Sullivan’s Foods site does not accept coupons.

Do you accept SNAP EBT cards?

  • SNAP EBT or any assistance card is not accepted for online transaction.

Can I use a gift card?

  • Gift cards are not currently accepted, but in the works for later this year.

Who is picking my order?

  • Our store has dedicated Personal Shoppers. These shoppers shop just like you do and focus on ensuring you enjoy the best online grocery shopping experience, period.

Where do I go to pick up my order?

  • The drop off site for the bridge closure Groceries2Go pickup is located in Sabula at the Island City Harbor between 2:30pm and 5:30pm.

Will I need to show identification?

  • When you arrive at the Island City Harbor, please have identification ready

Can someone else pickup my order for me?

  • If the individual placing the order will not be picking up the order, please be sure to input the pickup information into the order details field or tell your order taker when you call in your order.

What is your alcohol policy?

  • If your order contains alcohol, upon pickup, you must have proper identification ready at the drop-off site and provide a signature upon receipt of goods. If a minor will be picking up the order, the alcohol will be removed from the order.

Can I shop the Weekly Ad and Hot Deals?

  • Soon! We are working to make our online and app Weekly Ad clickable. Right now all ad items are available by clicking the list button at the top of the page near the print/list icon and reflected in search and department pages. To take advantage of this pricing, your pickup must occur within the ad’s sale dates. You will always receive the same pricing available in our stores on the day of your pickup.

Do prices online differ from in-store pricing?

  • When you submit your order, your credit card will be authorized for the total order amount, including the order value, provisional charge, and pick-up fee (waived during bridge closure). Ultimately, the final amount you will be charged will be based on the price of items in our stores on the day of pickup. The final amount charged will include the order value, pickup fee (waived during the bridge closure), and the exact weight of any items sold by the pound.

  • We hope that the weather will never prevent us from our drop off schedule. If there are going to be weather related delays or restrictions, Sullivan’s Personal Shoppers will contact customers who have already placed orders for and make other suitable arrangements. Also, please let us know if you will be delayed in picking up your order.
